Regarding the lessons of the spring term and shortened office hours

April 2, 2020 - Japanese Course, Novel Coronavirus

Due to the spread of the novel coronavirus, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has asked people here to refrain from going out. KAI thinks it is necessary to take stricter measures to protect the safety of students and teachers. So we have decided to postpone the spring term of the general course for 3 days and offer the lessons online entirely.

About the class

  1. The start date of the spring term will be postponed to Monday, April 13. (The last day will be June 25.)
  2. Lessons of both the general course and practical conversation course are conducted entirely online.

We plan to continue these online lessons for 3 weeks and change back to the previous style after that, but it may change due to the situation.

In addition, to ensure the safety of our faculty and staff, our business hours have been reduced as follows.

Business Hours

Monday through Friday, weekdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Please contact us by email outside of the above business hours as we are always open for email correspondence. We will inform you if the hours of operation change again due to circumstances.
