What kind of visa?

50 - 60% of our students have a pre-college visa, others have a short stay, dependants or working holiday visa.

What are the students' nationalities? (How many Korean, Chinese and Western students?)

Approximately 45% of students are from Asia, including 30% from Korea.
Approximately 45% of students are from European countries such as Italy, Spain, Sweden and Germany.
The rest are from North America, Central and South America, Oceania and Africa.

How many students are studying at KAI?

There are roughly 200 students enrolled in the general Japanese language course. Over the course of a year approximately 200 students study at the school.

The School In General

What do graduates go on to do?

Approximately 10% of graduates go on to university or vocational college. Approximately half of the remaining graduates go on to find employment in Japan or continue to live in Japan. Others return to their home country to seek employment or return to university.

What is the class size?

Normally there are 15 students in a class but, there may be up to 17 depending on the size of the class room.

Who has approved the school?

The school has been approved by the Association for the Promotion of Japanese Language Education (http://www.nisshinkyo.org/). Students must obtain permission from this association in order to obtain a pre-college visa.

Facilities

Are there any study rooms?

Classrooms that are not used for lessons are designated as study rooms.

Does the school have a dormitory?

No. However we can introduce students to student dormitories, guest houses and apartments.
