KAI’s history and proven track record

Since its foundation in 1987, KAI Japanese Language School has always been in the forefront of Japanese language education in Japan. KAI’s achievements in Japanese language education include publication of original educational materials as well as training of Japanese language teachers. Our role has been highly acclaimed not only in Japan but also all over the world. KAI is also very proud that it’s the only IALC (The International Association of Language Centers) certified school in Tokyo.

True multi-national environment

Since the students are from around 40 countries, they can learn real cross-cultural communication by interacting with other cultures. It’s the ideal balance of nationalities for a language learning environment because even the biggest portion is less than a quarter and Westerners and Asians are in a 50/50 balance in the student population.

KAI’s educational material is developed based upon a psychological approach with long teaching experience helps students from all over the world learn Japanese language efficiently. KAI helps you arrange your accommodation. We introduce home stays, guesthouses, business hotels and weekly apartments by your request. We at KAI are especially proud of our own host family network. Each host family has been visited and carefully interviewed by KAI's staff in person and adheres to our strict selection procedures. So you can feel very safe and relaxed during your stay.
